President - John Wilger
John brings years of hands-on experience in the fire service, emergency medical services, public safety, and emergency communications to the company.
Throughout his career, John has developed a strong understanding of the challenges facing fire and EMS agencies—from purchasing dependable apparatus and equipment to maintaining operational readiness and working within the realities of department budgets.
That experience helped shape the philosophy behind Inferno Fire Apparatus: Listen to the customer first.
John believes that purchasing a fire apparatus or piece of emergency equipment should be a partnership, not simply a sales transaction. Every department has different operational needs, staffing, geography, call volume, and financial considerations. Inferno's goal is to understand those needs and help departments find practical solutions that will serve their members and communities for years to come.
As a Western New York-based company, John is committed to building long-term relationships with fire departments, EMS agencies, municipalities, manufacturers, and vendors throughout the region. His focus is on providing honest communication, dependable service, quality products, and continued support after the sale.
Under John's leadership, Inferno Fire Apparatus is growing its capabilities in new and used fire and EMS apparatus, loose equipment, emergency lighting, apparatus service, refurbishment, and warranty support.
John's vision for Inferno is straightforward:
Build a company that public safety professionals can trust—because we understand the job, we understand the equipment, and we understand that the relationship doesn't end when the sale is complete.
